Text 6 - Lost and Found
Daniel is at the checkout counter. The cashier tells him the total is seventy-five dollars. Daniel puts his hand in his pocket to get his wallet, but he cannot find it. He checks his other pockets. He checks his jacket and his back pockets. The wallet is not there. Daniel starts to feel very worried. "Oh no! I don’t have my wallet!" he says. He remembers he had it in the car. Maybe it fell out of his pocket when he was walking. He runs to his car and finds the wallet on the ground. Then, he comes back to the checkout counter to pay for his groceries. He feels lucky to have his wallet and his money with him.
